Mapping stitch file letters to a font with Embrilliance Alphatricks is a simple process.

First, find the alphabet stitch files on your computer. For the easiest selection of the correct letters, you may want to place all the letters of one file format in a folder by themselves and separate font version of different sizes. This makes it easier to know you're selecting the right letters.
Next, click the Font Mapper icon in your Embrilliance Platform that's been activated with an Alphatricks serial number. It looks like a needle next to a vertical ABC.
When the dialog box comes up to ask you if you'd like to begin importing a font, click 'Yes'. Find the folder with your letter design files in the Design file browser window that comes up by navigating to it in the 'Browse' tree on the left of the window. If you have only the single format with all your characters, click the 'Select All' button and then click the 'Import' button on the menu bar.
When the font mapping window is clear, set the name of your font in the Name field.
At this point, you can begin setting up your font. Select where you'd like the baseline to be on the font from the 'Baseline' menu. Most fonts, aside from positional monograms which use a center baseline, will have the baseline at the bottom.
Now you can manually assign keys by typing in the character you want assigned to the letter you have selected, or, if your fonts were named in such a way that they came in to the import window in order, you can use the automatic mapping buttons A-Z, a-z, AA-ZZ, 0-9 to skip the manual mapping step, as they will enter a string of characters (as in from A-Z) in order, starting from your selected letter.
Adjust any letters that aren't sitting correctly on the baseline by dragging the letter up or down to place it in relation to the line.
Once it's adjusted to your liking and your settings are as you'd like them click the 'Save Font' button to save it to your font list and close the import window. You're ready to use your new font!
